Founded in 2025, the John Jay College Undergraduate Law Review (JJULR) is a student-run, undergraduate law and policy journal seeking to provide interested undergraduates with an open platform that allows them to explore the critical intersections between law, policy, and society. JJULR is dedicated to providing students with an outlet to analyze pressing domestic and international issues, publish original scholarship and commentary, refine research and writing skills, and join a community of peers committed to advancing thoughtful discourse on justice, governance, and public affairs.

As the first undergraduate publication of its kind at John Jay College, the JJULR is committed to fostering a rich culture of intellectual curiosity and discourse that exemplifies John Jay’s institutional mission for justice and social inquiry. The Law Review typically publishes annually and currently oversees two divisions: the Journal and Forum. The Journal is primarily concerned with in-depth, longer-form research articles while the Forum serves as a smaller, shorter-form commentary page that covers recent legal developments of public interest. We encourage the submissions of interdisciplinary pieces that reflect a diverse range of opinions and subjects as they relate to the legal system and the broader world that undergirds it.
